Jeff Huss and Mark Dalton started the Huss & Dalton Guitar Company in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley in 1995. Since that time, Mark and Jeff have built a strong reputation for high-quality, meticulously handcrafted acoustic guitars that incorporate new designs to enhance tone while remaining firmly rooted in traditional principles, creating aesthetically familiar and pleasing instruments with a modern, balanced sound. 

Huss & Dalton uses sustainably sourced, premium tonewoods to create finely crafted steel-string acoustic and electric boutique guitars—instruments that musicians and collectors who value both tradition and modern performance value.

Long-time team member Brian Dickel took ownership of the company in 2021, with a commitment to preserving the brand’s core values while maintaining its dedication to superior quality and artisanal craftsmanship.
