Boucher Guitars

Boucher is a boutique guitar builder based in Quebec, Canada, led by luthier Robin Boucher. Boucher's goal is to build guitars with extraordinary projection, unmatched, balanced harmonics, and a reliable frequency range, while maintaining each instrument's own personality.

In addition to craftsmanship, the luthiers at Boucher Guitars focus on wood selection, seeking rare and local woods; they reserve the best for their soundboards and sell the remaining premium wood to well-known guitar manufacturers. The company's location in Berthier-sur-Mer, along the St. Lawrence River, provides a close connection to Picea rubens, commonly known as the Red Spruce. Picea Rubens is known worldwide for its exceptional harmonic qualities, which Boucher uses to great advantage in their guitars.
