jason-kostal-omc-acoustic-guitar-copy
2026 Jason Kostal OMC Swiss Moon Spruce top Brazilian Rosewood

Playing a Jason Kostal guitar is an almost overwhelming musical experience. Chords bloom and ring, single notes sing out and the responsiveness of Jason's builds create a guitar that seems hardwired into your emotions. This instrument asserts its quality in every note, every touch and from every angle. Extremely responsive, balanced and articulate with warm bass and even tone across the register, this beautiful guitar is a masterpiece which has been crafted by one of the finest luthiers in the world.

The fit and finish is amazing. The ebony binding sets off the very light colored Moon Spruce top, and the Brazilian Rosewood back and sides are as gorgeous as the overtones they produce. The stained glass rosette catches the light, but remains subtle and understated. Spend 5 minutes with this instrument, and you'll understand why Jason has a six-year waiting list for his guitars.

Build & Materials

Top: Swiss Moon Spruce (Sitka Spruce top braces)

Back & Sides: Brazilian Rosewood (Mahogany back braces)

Fretboard: ebony with ebony binding

Neck: one-piece Honduran Mahogany

Nut & Saddle: bone

Rosette: stained glass

Headcap Veneer: two-tone, with ebony backstrip and decorative end graft

Bridge: Brazilian Rosewood

Side Position Markers: white

Fretwire: medium tall

Electronics & Hardware

Tuners: Gotoh 510, chrome with ebony buttons

Strings: John Pearse

Size & Feel

Body: Florentine cutaway, 14-fret neck joint

Scale length: 25" | Nut width: 1.75"

The Details

Includes Hoffee Custom case

Handcrafted by Jason Kostal (OMC, Serial #261)

In stock now at Wood & Wire.
