Urban Ficus and a highly figured Shamal Ash top give this piece its own identity in Jeff Leavitt's lineup and set it apart from other more pedestrian T-style guitars. The addition of the Bigsby B-5 really puts this beauty over the top.

Build & Materials

Body: Urban Ficus with Urban Shamal Ash top

Neck: Urban Black Walnut, V profile, set neck joint

Fretboard: Indian Rosewood

Fret Markers: turquoise | Side Dots: copper

Frets: Jescar 55090 medium/highest nickel silver (22 frets)

Nut: 1.65" bone

Finish: hand-rubbed Walrus Oil; headstock logo silkscreened

Electronics & Hardware

Pickups: Lollar Imperial set

Volume: CTS 500k audio taper with treble bleed

Tone: CTS 500k audio taper with 22nf Orange Drop capacitor

Switch: Switchcraft 3-way | Output Jack: Switchcraft

Hardware finish: chrome | Tuners: Kluson Revolution 19:1

Bridge: Tone Pros Tune-o-Matic | Tailpiece: Bigsby B5

Knobs: high hat

Size & Feel

Scale length: 24.75" | Fretboard radius: 12"

Weight: 8.8 lbs — a bit more heft than the other Tone Rangers, with the balance to match

The Details

Includes hard shell case

Handcrafted by Jeff Leavitt (Tone Ranger, Desert Star model, Serial #0705826)

In stock now at Wood & Wire.
